By default, Beached has1,500K allocated to it.  This should be enough when using 256 colours.
  However, if your monitor is set to thousands of colours, the application will most likely run out of memory.  If this happens, either:
   • Set your monitor to 256 colours.
     (using ‘Monitors’ control panel)
   • Increase RAM allocation to at least 3,000K.
     (using ‘Get Info’)
